The BD83070GWL is a buck-boost type of DC/DC converter. This converter is highly efficient and uses a low quiescent current while in operation. When not switching, BD83070GWL only consumes about 2.8µA of quiescent current and it can support up to 1A of output current while keeping the efficiency higher than 95% from low to high output current. The output voltage of BD83070GWL can be set at 2.5V or 3.3V based on the voltage level on the V Select (V_SEL) pin and it can operate properly down to 1.61V once it was been started above 2.0V.
