Carol® Brand Electronics does not make military-spec cables. Carol® Brand Electronics does make military-type coaxial cables. Military-type cables are made to specifications matching the military specifications; however, the cables are not approved by the military nor packaged to their standards. The industry is going away from the RG designation and using the term "Series" (i.e. Series 6). For the purpose of being consistent with the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) IPS-SP-001 and TIA/EIA 570-B (formerly revised from the A version), the series designation is being used for coaxial specifications.
