STMicroelectronics offers their P-NUCLEO-WB55 pack, which is a multi-protocol wireless and ultra-low-power device. Intended for wireless solutions, this platform features the STM32WB microcontroller which provides digital and analog peripherals suitable for applications requiring extended battery life and complex functionalities. Other features include a 2.4 gigahertz RF transceiver—supporting Bluetooth 5 and IEEE 802.15.4 communication protocols, a dedicated Arm 32-bit Cortex M0+ CPU for real-time radio layer, three user LEDs, three user buttons, an integrated PCB antenna, flexible power supply options, and many more. The Bluetooth range is up to 10 meters for normal working conditions, and up to 100 meters in an open-field environment. System requirements include Windows OS, Linux 64-bit, or macOS, and a USB Type-A to Micro-B cable.
