Fundamentals of Probing Overview

This training module will review the types of probes and the basics of each type. Coupling and impedance matching will be discussed, as well as the process of selecting a particular type. Applications showing various probe tips and grounds will be presented and probing techniques will be reviewed. There will also be a discussion of common mode rejection and why this is an important consideration.
