The heart of the LPC3250 is the ARM9ESJ-S core integrated with 32KBytes of instruction and data cache. The CPU subsystem also comprises of the vector floating point coprocessor (VFP9), which is critical for DSP based applications. This core also supports embedded trace. Except for the LPC3220, all other devices in this series are provided with 256KBytes of on-chip SRAM. The external memory interface incorporates a NAND flash controller and SDRAM controller together with an interface for an SD card. Highlighted are three key peripherals: the Ethernet controller, the USB block which can be configured as a full speed device, host, or OTG, and the LCD controller. Connecting all the modules together is the multi-layer AHB matrix.
