Phoenix Contact CBMC Circuit Breakers with IO-Link | DigiKey Daily

Phoenix Contact’s CBMC product line now includes IO-Link versions. The CBMC product line is a multi-channel, programmable electronic circuit breaker capable of setting the nominal current. These units are designed to protect downstream consumer equipment against overload and short-circuit conditions. The integrated IO-Link interface allows for comprehensive diagnosis and device control. The integrated IO-Link connection ensures the connection to the IO-Link master. With the help of the IO-Link protocol, it is possible to receive and send the cyclic and acyclic data of the device. Two versions are available: the standard unit, which offers one to ten amps of current, and the NEC Class 2 unit, which provides for one to four amps. Both units are intended for 24 volt-DC applications.
