60V 8-Switch Matrix LED Dimmer

LEDs are being used in current luxury model automotive headlights. Future automotive headlight designs include more powerful LEDs, more LEDs, and highly animated and multifunctional LED strings. These “matrix” LED headlights have the ability to change brightness and patterns. They allow control of individual LEDs within a string and include new features that make LED headlights more distinguished and functional. The LT3965 matrix LED dimmer is used for matrix LED headlights. It is used to control the individual LED brightness for each LED within a string of LEDs. With computer I2C serial interface, patterns, fault diagnostics, and on/off or brightness control is possible. New automotive headlights that are more animated, robust and sophisticated are coming.
