The SA604A is similar to the SA602 with some additional features. The SA604AD also operates from 4.5 to 8V supply. It is a FM IF subsystem; meaning that it has no internal down mixer. It contains the IF and limiter amplifiers, RSSI and quadrature detector, and the muted and un-muted audio outputs. It is used with the SA602AD mixer to provide a single conversion receiver. The RSSI dynamic range of 90 dB is best in class when compared to other similar parts.
