GT8E Series Connectors
Hirose's GT8E connectors are resistant to thermal shock, vibration, and harsh environments
Hirose's GT8E series is a 2.0 mm pitch, board-to-wire connector designed for discreet wire applications, but has the ability to be used as a wire-to-wire connector. It features a mechanical positive-locking mechanism that emits a clear tactile click after a successful mate, prevents incomplete mating, and delivers a lock strength of 98 N. These connectors are resistant to thermal shock, vibration, and harsh environments. This connector is sturdy and reliable enough to meet the stringent standards set by the automotive industry and is offered with multiple options. The options include DIP, SMT, in-line (waterproof), straight, right-angle types, and contact counts that range from 2-24. It has a 3 A maximum current capacity and is RoHS-compliant. Accepts 20 AWG to 28 AWG.
