TE Connectivity presents their waterproof USB Type-C connectors, which are designed for use in harsh environment applications where moisture is present. These connectors meet industry-leading IPX8 water ingression performance per the IEC 60529 standard. Capable of 10 gigabits-per-second data rates, these waterproof connectors are rated for USB 3.1 performance and are also qualified for transmitting 100 watts of power at 5 amps. The added board retention along with the EMI protection features mean that these connectors have a robust design, providing the reliability and quality that TE Connectivity is known for.
