TDK offers their ALT4532 series transformers. These SMD pulse transformers, for LAN applications, employ an innovative automated coil-winding technique and feature very uniform electrical properties, with a much smaller footprint. LAN connectivity is becoming a standard feature not only in PCs, but also in digital devices ranging from digital TVs to multimedia appliances. TDK's ALT4532 series is a wound chip type pulse transformer developed specifically for LAN applications, and is compatible with 10-base-T, 100-base-TX, and 1000-base-T. Being RoHS compliant with a temperature range from -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, ideal applications for these pulse transformers include the LAN interface portion of various equipment such as network devices, communication devices, and digital home appliances.
