The Skyworks Si823Hx combines two isolated gate drivers into a single package and is ideal for driving MOSFETs and IGBTs in high power applications. The Si823Hx family includes devices with single or dual control inputs with independent or high-side, low-side outputs. These drivers can operate with a 3.0 to 5.5 Volt input supply and a maximum drive supply voltage of 30 Volts. They utilize the Skyworks proprietary silicon isolation technology, supporting up to 5 kilovolts RMS for 1 minute isolation voltage. This technology enables high transient Immunity, lower propagation delays and skew, little variation with temperature and age, and excellent part-to-part matching. The Skyworks Si823Hx driver family offers unique features, including over-temperature protection, output undervoltage lockout fault detection, dead time programmability, and fail-safe drivers that default low in case of loss of input side power.
