Silicon Labs’ BGM121 and BGM123 Blue Gecko Bluetooth SiP modules are targeted for ultra-small wearable and portable applications that require low power consumption and easy development. They also integrate chip antennas with excellent RF performance, which require minimal PCB, plastic, and metal clearance. The total PCB area required is only 51 mm². The BGM121 and BGM123 have +8 dBm and +3 dBm TX power, respectively, supporting up to 200 meters range. EFR32™ Wireless Gecko SoC combines an energy-efficient 2.4 GHz transceiver with a 40 MHz ARM Cortex-M4 processor core, feature enhanced Bluetooth 4.2 stack, and hardware cryptography accelerator support.
