These highly-integrated 1-watt and 1.5-watt DC-to-DC buck switching regulators include an integrated shielded inductor for reducing EMI emissions. These modules accept voltages ranging from 4 to 36 volts DC with output voltages from 0.8 to 30 volts DC. The 1-watt device provides 1 amp of current while the 1.5-watt regulator sources 1.5 amps. These converters are housed in a tiny 3 by 5 by 1.6 millimeter QFN package that employs flip-chip technology for thermal enhancements. Other features include power good, soft start, sync function capabilities, with protections including short-circuit, over-current, and thermal. Applications include IIoT, industrial and motor controls, medical and imaging equipment, automated test equipment, and more.
