Murata NXJ2 Series DC/DC Converters | DigiKey Daily

Murata Power Solutions’ NXJ2 series is a new range of 2 watt, lower-profile, fully automated manufacture surface mount DC-to-DC converters. Available input voltages consist of 5, 12, and 24 volts. Thanks to the substrate-embedded transformer, this series offers increased product reliability and repeatability of performance. Other features include a standard footprint compatible with existing designs, 5.2 kilovolts-DC isolation, short-circuit protection, and are halogen free. Additionally, these converters have an MSL rating of 2 and are compatible with a peak reflow solder temperature of 260 degrees Celsius. Major markets for this series consist of industrial control, medical, telecommunications, industrial automation, and audio power requirements. Ideal applications include motor drives and motion control, solar inverters, uninterrupted power supplies, battery powered systems, and process control systems.
