The new Pocket IO development platform allows for rapid prototyping of any industrial control system. This ultra-small PLC reference design, which can be controlled by an iPad or iPhone, can literally fit into your pocket. The MAXREFDES150# Pocket IO development platform is a reference design integrating a total of 30 IOs. This consists of four analog inputs, one analog output, eight digital inputs, eight digital outputs, two RS485, three encoder motor-control ports, and four IO-Link® masters. The contents of Pocket IO include Pocket IO stacked in a plastic case with Intel Edison, a connector attach board, 40-pin female to female cable, USB A-to-micro-USB B cable, and an AC-to-DC power supply with adapters for regional outlets.
