Offered in a small SMD package, these high-quality thin-film digital pyroelectric IR sensors can detect motion both nearby and over larger distances thanks to their high dynamic range. The built-in industry-standard I2C communication allows for plug-and-play connectivity to microcontrollers. These motion sensors can be connected together in a linear series allowing for synchronized sampling across multiple devices.
