What are the Incoterms for my shipment?

JPY Currency

When placing an order in JPY Currency Incoterms will vary depending on the shipping method as shown below.

  • UPS (Compatible with Incoterms DDP qualified invoices):
Digi-Key Electronics LLC will be the importer and conduct domestic transactions, so we can issue qualified invoices as described above. We will be responsible for all import procedures, including import procedures, and will pay customs duties and other costs. A consumption tax rate of 10% will be applied.
  • FedEx/DHL (Incoterms CPT qualified invoice not supported):
Since the customer is the importer and the transaction is an import transaction, a qualified invoice cannot be issued. Customs duties, import consumption taxes, and other charges are the responsibility of the customer. Customs duties and import consumption taxes will be charged by the delivery company.

USD Currency

For orders in US dollars, regardless of the shipping method, Incoterms will be the importer at CPT (customs duties, import consumption taxes, etc. will be borne by the customer at the time of delivery). Customs duties and import consumption taxes will be charged by the delivery company.

Note: Incoterms will be displayed on the Shipping page before you press the Order button online. Incoterms vary depending on delivery destination and customer classification (individual/corporate).
