Toshiba's power MOSFETs ensure fast switching speeds without compromising on EMI noise levels

As such, performance and reliability are the cornerstones of their products. All of Toshiba’s automotive products go above and beyond AEC-Q101 standards.

Higher switching frequencies coupled with higher power requires devices that have lower on-resistances, but at the same time ensure fast switching speeds without compromising on EMI noise levels. Toshiba has developed state-of-art wafer processes to suppress switching noise, further improving product design.

By combining advanced wafer processes with low-resistance packaging technologies, industry-low levels of on-resistance are achieved. Toshiba's copper connectors used in their MOSFETs contribute to extremely low package resistance and inductance. This low resistance contributes to reduced energy loss and miniaturization of applications.

The introduction of wettable flank packaging allows for better automated optical inspection (AOI) while helping with solder wick up. Such improvements help ensure the chip lasts through a variety of extreme reliability conditions.

    • RDS(ON)=3.3 mΩ (max) at VGS=10 V (TK90S06N1L with 60 V DPAK+ package)
    • RDS(ON)=2.4 mΩ (max) at VGS=10 V (TK160F10N1L with 100 V WARP-TO-220SM(W) package)
  • 40 V, 60 V, 100 V P-channel and N-channel MOSFETs for automotive applications using the small, surface-mount package
  • AEC-Q101 qualified
  • SOP Advance (WF), TSON Advance (WF), and DSOP Advance (WF) packages with wettable flank terminal structure
