ASBT-2-4/0-Slim Aluminum Shear Bolt Terminal

The design of TE Connectivity AMP's aluminum shear bolt terminal slim (ASBT-2-4/0-Slim) has been specifically optimized for compatibility with the Raychem cold-shrink termination kits (CSTO-152, CSTI-152, CSTO-282, and CSTI-282). Its slim design makes it simple to slide through the termination for easy and fast installation. Like the other products in the ASBT range, the ASBT slim can accommodate a range from #2 compact to 4/0 kcmil concentric, stranded Class B. The ASBT is ideally suited for making aluminum or copper cable connections to flat bars or equipment pads equipped with 2-hole NEMA spacing. The terminal is manufactured from seamless high-conductivity aluminum designed for heavy-duty utility applications. The bore of the connector body has a uniquely grooved surface to enhance electrical contact and minimize resistance at the interface between the terminal and the conductor. The cable entry area is chamfered inside for easy cable insertion.
