Bourns’ AEC-Q200 compliant planar transformer is designed for battery management systems
Bourns’ model SM91806AL battery management system (BMS) planar transformer was developed for BMS application use with Analog Device’s LTC6815 series, NXP’s MC33771C series, and Texas Instruments’ BQ79616. This BMS transformer offers a working voltage of up to 1,000 VDC and hipot isolation voltage of up to 4,300 VDC or 3,000 VAC with an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Bourns’ manufacturing process improved the quality and cost-effectiveness of this transformer with creepage distance >8.2 mm, overvoltage category II and clearance distance >8.2 mm, pollution degree 2, material group CTI I.
