Image of Bourns' Next-Generation BMS Signal Planar Transformer - SM91806AL-EBourns’ model SM91806AL battery management system (BMS) planar transformer was developed for BMS application use with Analog Device’s LTC6815 series, NXP’s MC33771C series, and Texas Instruments’ BQ79616. This BMS transformer offers a working voltage of up to 1,000 VDC and hipot isolation voltage of up to 4,300 VDC or 3,000 VAC with an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Bourns’ manufacturing process improved the quality and cost-effectiveness of this transformer with creepage distance >8.2 mm, overvoltage category II and clearance distance >8.2 mm, pollution degree 2, material group CTI I.
