DC053A-A: 12V @ 250mA, 2.7 ~ 11V in, Boost


Demonstration board DC053A is a complete DC/DC step-up switching regulator using the LT®1372 or the LT1377 constant frequency, high efficiency converter in an 8-pin SOIC package. High frequency switching allows the use of very small inductors, making this all surface mount solution ideal for space conscious systems.

This DC053A demonstration board is intended for evaluating the LT1372/LT1377 switching regulator in a typical step-up application. Solid turret terminals are provided for easy connection to test equipment. A device pinout and board schematic are shown in Figure 1.
