TDP Series DIP Switches

C&K's high-reliability, surface-mount switch provides visual confirmation of on/off status

Image of C&K's Ultra-Miniature, Half Pitch, Side-Actuated DIP Switch C&K, a leading international supplier of tact switches, toggle, rocker and pushbutton switches, and smart card interconnect devices, has developed an ultra-miniature, surface mount, side-actuated DIP switch. Designated the TDP Series, the half pitch switch features a dual-bifurcated wiping action that ensures reliable contact. When mounted horizontally, the side-actuation mechanism provides visual confirmation of the on/off status.

"The TDP Series is one of the first ultra-miniature, surface mount, half pitch, side-actuated DIP switches available in the industry," said worldwide product manager for C&K. "The high-reliability, low-profile, and mounting options make the TDP switches ideal for a number of applications, including those currently using piano DIPs and require a miniature replacement solution, such as logic switching for computers and peripherals, as well as switching for industrial controls."

Additional applications for the TDP Series DIP switches include electronic cash registers and ATMs; automated warehouse delivery systems; hand-held electrical devices; portable computer and electronic devices; and instrumentation and control systems.
